BPET runs nine schools across London and the South East, with over 2,900 pupils. 20% of children qualify for Pupil Premium, which means that at least 585 children across our Trust are classified as disadvantaged and we know that many of them and their families are living in relative poverty.
BPET has created a “Community Fund” project which will looks to raise funds from across our school, supplier and partner communities to help offer support to our families most in need.
As part of a commitment to every child in our Trust schools being ‘interested and interesting’ and offering opportunities to all regardless of their background, our aim is for every Year 6 to take part in a residential trip.
These trips provide a fantastic range of opportunities and experiences for children and are an important part of their primary school journey. These trips can be expensive and we want to ensure that they are accessible for all.
For this reason, each BPET school will be running a Community Fund Fundraiser in the 2022 Summer Term. All money raised will be pooled and then spread across the families who need it most in order to access their school residential.
