Hurstmere is an all boys secondary school based in Sidcup, Kent. Hurstmere's own record label Studio-Fix encourages students to lead projects; writing and developing their own songs.
Back in 2020, five [then] Year 7 students wrote 'Chasing Rainbows' during the first lockdown. The song was based on a young person not replying to any texts or calls and it was discovered that they were all alone in their bedroom staring out of a window, struggling with their mental health. The song has recently had a vibrant makeover in the hands of the Harmony Army, and it also has a brand new amazing video!
Chasing Rainbows is being re-released to raise awareness about mental health in young people. Studio-Fix at Hurstmere School are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the charity, Young Minds UK, and are looking forward to performing it live at their first Summer Music Showcase since 2019.
Please support this worthwhile cause. Every amount, no matter how small, will help the boys reach their goal.
