Year 6 Resident trip.
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

The cost of the trip is £180 per child. Unfortunately, there are a lot of families who are unable to pay due to the cost of living.

Keyworth Primary School is a two-form entry school in Kennington, London. We work within a
diverse community of families and are dedicated to building and maintaining strong relationships
with all of those we serve.
Every year we plan a trip to take year 6 children on a residential excursion. This is an opportunity
for the children to celebrate the end of their time at primary school as well as develop essential
skills including cooperation, leadership and self-belief, which will help them as they move on to the
next stage of their learning. Activities include abseiling, rock climbing, orienteering, raft building
and camp-fire building!
This year we have planned for the children to attend PGL in Marchants Hill. The trip will be taking
place over a weekend in June 2023. It will be a memorable experience for all of those who are
fortunate enough to attend. Children and parents from previous years have all retold positive
impacts regarding their time away.
The cost of the trip is £180 per child. Unfortunately, there are a lot of families who have said they
will struggle to pay the cost. As a school we are doing as much as we can to support parents so
that their child doesn’t have to miss out – we have hosted bake sales and other fund-raising
events. At present, however, there are children who will unfortunately have to miss out.
We need some support to ensure that all children are given the same opportunity. We are hoping
that you would consider offering some support by donating. Anything you can give will be greatly
appreciated and it could mean that a child is given the opportunity to gain an enjoyable and
memorable experience! Any donated money will be used to pay towards the cost of the trip for a
child whose family otherwise could not afford it.

Got an idea like this?

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
