New stretch target
The initial target will purchase 1 Creality Ender 3 S1 3D Printer. If we raise any more than this we will purchase further rolls of filament and licences to the software for more computers in school.
We are trying to catch up from before the pandemic to give the children the best opportunity in life.

My name is Joshua Grimshaw and I am the digital lead for Haydn Primary School. We pride ourselves on our reputation as a school and being part of the community within Nottingham. During the pandemic we made amazing progress in technology and the outcome was continued learning throughout one of the most difficult periods of our lives.
Now moving on in a world trying to regain normality, we want to pick up the pieces and come back even stronger. We gave out so many of our computing devices to support families that means we now find ourselves lacking in tech and struggling to get by. Combine this with the stretch on school budgets, increase in bills and demand in schools, we find ourselves in an impossible situation.
Our first step in up-skilling our children is to purchase a 3D printer to link the DT and computing curriculukm together. The aim is to allow children to create 3D images on a computer and see them come to life. This process will spark genuine enthusiasm in our children and will give them a taste of what can be possible with technology.
Any help will be so appreciated and will genuinely change the lives of our children at Haydn.
