Pimlico Academy: Journey to FTC national success.
We did it
On 19th March 2020 we successfully raised £110 with 2 supporters in 35 days

We got 6th place in our FTC regional division and are looking for funds that will help us go far in nationals.

Our journey began at Pimlico Academy in London, where our team shared similar interests in STEM. We are mostly a team of year 10s and 2 year 9s.The FTC challenge was the perfect opportunity to get involved and participate together. In addition to the competition it has given us all a chance to learn something new that we could keep to the future. Since joining the competition, we have passed the Regionals competition ranking 6th in our division and are now progressing towards nationals. This has given us the inspiration to excel our team to do better at nationals.

The donations kindly given will ensure that we can buy new parts that will ultimately increase our chances to go further in nationals. We also need money for travel and other expenses. For this, we are setting a goal of £500.

However, as a team we strongly believe in giving back to the community. Any extra money that we receive above our initial amount of £500, will be passed on for next year’s team and have plans to buy equipment that could inspire future students to be interested in STEM, especially coding.

Please consider donating for our cause which could be the continuation of something incredible.
