New stretch target

Any extra money will help us realise our goal of providing Chromebooks to all our classes.

Additional hardware such as computer mice will be purchased too.

The Issue

The pandemic has meant schools have had to adapt their learning provision quickly and efficiently over the past year to ensure the children in their care do not miss out on key parts of their education. MOSPS has successfully implemented Google Classroom into their daily routine that when the children return to school next week, they will be able to continue their education with minimal disruption.

However, there is still more that needs to be done to ensure that all children continue to make progress even with the disruption to their education by Covid-19. And nowadays, having a firm understanding of the basics of computing and using computers is vital for a successful future.

The Solution

Any money raised will be used to buy more Chromebooks to be used by our children in Years 1-6. This past year has taught us just how important good computing skills are in our modern world; not just for accessing the Internet for research, but for producing high quality content by accessing a range of programs and working collaboratively with one another across the Google G-Suite.

We want to make the education we offer our children truly cross-curricular meaning that the children will always have easy access to a device to complete a range of tasks from English to art.

It is our aim that one day every class has its own set of Chromebooks.
